IRAN - Omid Karamali executed in Karaj on January 22

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, four men were executed in Karaj Penitentiary on January 22. Their identities have been established as Ahmad Zalitabar, Saman Nabi-Gorousi, Abolfazl Borghaninejad and Omid Karamali who were sentenced to death for drug-related charges by the Revolutionary Court.
The news of the executions of the first 3, Zalitabar, Nabi-Gorousi and Borghaninejad, had already been published in recent days by other sources, which had failed to identify the 4th man. Today IHRS identifies him as Omid Karamali.
