According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Malayer Prison on 18 February 2026. His identity has been established as Sajad Ahmadi who was arrested for the murder of his wife around five years ago. A source told IHRNGO: “Sajad had a 7-year-old daughter who lives with his wife’s family (plaintiffs), they didn’t allow him to see her in prison.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
