IRAN SENTENCES NINE PEOPLE ACCUSED OF DRUG SMUGGLING

nine people accused of drug smuggling were sentenced to death in Iran's Kirman Province, Mehr news agency quoted Kirman City Revolutionary Court head Dadkhuda Salari as saying. One of the accused dealt with distribution of 20,000 ampoule of morphine in various provinces of the country. Some 105 kgs of heroin and cocaine, as well as 800 kgs of other narcotic substances were seized from the others.
