IRAN: SIX PRISONERS HANGED

six prisoners were executed in Iran between August 29 and September 1st.
In the morning of August 29, a prisoner who had been charged with “Murder”, was executed in Bandar Abbas prison. According to the report of Human Rights Activists in Iran (HRANA), Abdullah Zarei, 25, from the city of Minab of Hormozgan province, who was held in ward 2 of Bandar Abbas prison, was hanged in this prison.
A young man, whose name was not given, was hanged in public near Barq Square in Bandar Abbas on August 31.
Four prisoners were executed on September 1st in the north-western city of Tabriz and the western city of Sanandaj.
Zahed Hedayati and Jamal Jaafari were hanged in Sanandaj Prison.
Mostajab Pour Mohammad and Davoud Emazadeh were hanged in Tabriz Prison.
