IRAN. THREE MEN PUBLICLY HANGED FOR 'ARMED ROBBERY'

three men who had been condemned to death for armed robbery were hanged in the Qasemabad district of Mashhad, Iran. On the basis of the indictment letter, issued by the court in Khorasan Province and read-out before hanging them, the criminals were named as: Ali Adelzadeh, Arash Gholamian-Khorasani and Davud Daliran.
Ali Adelzadeh, aged 24, had been charged with 11 counts of armed robbery from banks, Islamic charity boxes and cooperative safe boxes between 2003 and 2004.
Arash Gholamian was also involved in similar acts of armed robbery from two banks and one charity box. In addition, he was charged with murder during a burglary which took place in 1998.
The third to convict, Davud Daliran, was involved in the armed robbery comitted by Arash Gholamian on a bank in 2002. All three men were found guilty of mohareb (waging war against God) and of being corrupt on earth.
