Three other Iraqi citizens were sentenced to 10 years in jail, one Syrian and a Saudi-born Jordanian were given reduced prison sentences of two years while three Syrians were acquitted.
The suspects were indicted in March over deadly rocket attacks in August 2005 on US warships moored in Jordan's Red Sea port of Aqaba in which the Jordanian soldier was killed.
