Leroy Stallworth, 26, was resentenced to life in prison for killing on Jan. 3, 1998, his estranged wife Natasha Turner- Stallworth. In October, however, the state Supreme Court overturned the death sentence, saying prosecutors incorrectly used a violation of an unenforceable protection-from-abuse order, or PFA, as one of the aggravating circumstances needed for a death sentence. The justices did not overturn Stallworth's conviction.
