Mohammad Golabi, a member of the Iranian Kurdish group Komala and of the Iranian Communist Party, was executed in the central prison of Iran's western City of Saghez. The body of Golabi, hanged on the instructions of Prosecutor Goodini, reportedly showed new signs of torture upon its inspection by friends and family at a cemetery near the City of Baneh. It was reported by Daneshjoo that Golabi's crime had been his refusal to withdraw a formal protest made against Goodini for tortures made in 2000, during a prior arrest, which included a bullet wound made to his leg during interrogation.
