China sentenced Uighur Mehmet Maheti, 19, to death after finding him guilty of two murders and robbery. He allegedly beat Han businessman Yang Quanhong, 41, to death on July 5 and stole his mobile phone. Yang’s widow said “We were driving down the street and they dragged me and my husband out of our car and beat him.”
