"Several days ago, the Tabriz Revolutionary Court ruled that a leader of the student movement, Ms Faramaz Mohammadi, be executed," the Azerbaijani newspaper Xalq Qazeti reported. Mohammadi, a 19 year old Azeri national and a student at Tabriz University, "was one of the leading figures in the student movement." After the execution "her corpse was taken to Ardabil," the report added. Mohammadi had been one of the organisers of the student movement at Tabriz University and had "delivered radical speeches against Iran's Persian and mullah regime". "Although the court passed the death verdict a month ago, she was executed a couple of days ago," the report concluded.
