the Appeals Court upheld a death sentence for former Muang Ratchaburi municipal councillor Ananthasak Srisawat, 48, for his role in the May 2006 assassination of former Thai Rak Thai Ratchaburi MP Kobkul Nopobromdee.
The court also upheld the life sentences handed out by a lower court to two other convicts, Winyu Rattanawannee, 36, and Anon Panrat, 46, for their roles in the killing.
The three men were convicted of conspiring with a fourth suspect, now deceased, Sa-ngad Pumpeng, to take two loaded M16 rifles to Muang district's city area to kill Kobkul.
