the execution of Bahman Saliman in Iran, scheduled for February 5th, was suspended by an order from judicial authority Ayatollah Mahmoud Shahroudi. Bahman was sentenced to death by the 33rd chamber of the Supreme Court for the murder of his grandmother. The murder was committed in 1996, when he was 15. The boy was sentenced to death on August 28, 2008. The judicial authority suspended the execution for three days to allow reconciliation attempts with the only uncle still able to demand the execution after the other two uncles already allowed the pardon.
