The Iranian daily newspaper, Qods, reported that a member of a gang found guilty of rape was hanged in a prison in the Iranian city of Mashhad.
The man, who was not identified, had also been sentenced to 187 lashes for alcohol consumption.
In total, eight members of the gang - blamed for kidnapping and raping a number of young girls and women in Mashhad - had been hanged, most of them in public, the paper said.
