The Shanghai No 1 Intermediate People's Court sentenced Wang Siyuan to death for manslaughter. The 35-year-old Anhui Province native had a dispute with a co-worker at the construction site he worked on. To vent his anger, he put Dushuqiang, a rat poison, into the man's food container on the night of January 18. The man died the next day after eating the food.
