The Student Movement Co-Ordination Committee for Democracy in Iran's Information Service reported two more executions in the central city of Esfahan, bringing the number of those executed in this city in the last seven days to three.
The names of the victims were reported as Mohamad Arbab and Mohamad-Reza Saeedi. They were known for having been held for political activities aimed at overthrowing the theocratic system, SMCCDI said. Their bodies were returned to their families with no further explanation, such as, when their trial took place, the report added.
