The Supreme Court of Tajikistan sentenced to death Maqsatullo Abdulhaqov, A. Qurbonov and F. Ghulomov charged under six articles of the Criminal Code, including murder, illegal possession of a firearm and robbery. On [the night of] 13-14 July 2000, five criminals, led by Maqsatullo Abdulhaqov, carried out an armed attack on a house. After brutally murdering the whole family, they seized 16,000 dollars and escaped. Those killed included six men, two women and two boys.
