Two convicted murderers were hanged in Fat'hol Mobin Square in the southwestern city of Dezful. Hassan Saghouri-Khosraji and Damat Khosraji were found guilty of the 1994 murder of Jafar Akbarzadeh. A revolutionary tribunal also found the men guilty of theft and other crimes, including spreading "terror" among the population and destroying public property.
An unidentified young man was sentenced to death by hanging, the Ettela'at daily said.
