Majid Kavousifar and his accomplice Hossein Kavousifar, charged with the murder of Judge Hassan Moqaddas, were sentenced to death by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court, ISNA reported. The two suspects confessed that they decided to kill Moqaddas after he found them guilty in the Ershad Preliminary Court. The court also convicted them of armed bank robbery, three counts of premeditated murder, abusing heroin, disrupting public security and keeping and using illegal weapon. The two have 20 days to appeal the verdict.
