two members of the Kurdish minority in Iran, identified as Ali Heydarian and Farhad Vakili, were sentenced to 10 years of prison and execution after being severely tortured, the Iranian Minorities’ Human Rights Organization reported. The Iranian Authorities accused them of membership in Iranian P.K.K party branch, of which there is no evidence. The two men are also convicted of acts against the security of the country and, according to the report, the trial lasted not more than 7 minutes.
