Judge Arlan Harrell sentenced Eddie Ricky Nealy, 56, Black, to death. On Sept 11 (see) a Fresno County jury voted unanimously to sentence Nealy to death for raping and killing 14-yr-old Jody Lynn Wolfe in 1985. The nude body of the girl was discovered on Aug. 15, 1985. The case went cold, and was eventually solved only in 2001, thanks to new Dna tests. Nealy has two previous rape convictions. Nealy is also on trial for raping a woman in September 2001.
