Judge Maltz sentenced Sean Alonzo Bush to death. A St. Johns County jury found Bush, 48, Black, guilty of 1st-degree murder for killing his estranged wife, Nicole Bush, 35, in her apartment in May 2011, and on Aug. 17 voted unanimously for death. Today Circuit Judge Howard Maltz formally sentenced Bush.
