A Bexar County jury took less than 2 hours to sentence Frank Garcia Jr., 28, to death for killing Police Officer Hector Garza. District Judge Sharon MacRae read the jury's decision. Garcia is accused of killing his 21-year-old wife, Jessica, with 3 shots to her face. Last week, the jury of 6 men and 6 women found Garcia guilty of fatally shooting Garza March 29 2001 after the officer responded to a domestic dispute.
