A Bill was approved changing execution method to lethal injection instead of firing squad. The Thai Senate approved its final reading of the draft on amended of capital punishment by 87 votes to six. The bill also banned capital punishment and life imprisonment for convicts younger than 18, subjecting them instead to a maximum of 50 year jail term.
