A court in Bangladesh convicted a man and sentenced him to death in absentia for killing a woman. Adam Khan of Halholia village in Chunarughat upazila was found guilty of killing Noor Chan, wife of Abdur Rahman of the same village, by stabbing her indiscriminately following a quarrel on May 31 in 1999.
