A court in Boosaaso, Somalia, sentenced to death four soldiers for committing murders in various parts of the region, the Somali daily Ayaamaha reported.
The decision was announced after the court learnt that the body of the last victim killed by the men laid in Boosaaso town, the relatives apparently refused to bury it demanding justice.
It was reported that the relatives were ordered to bury the body following the court decision to execute the men. Accepting the pronouncement, the relatives of the deceased said they were delighted with the court verdict.
Although the sentence was passed at the HQ of the main jail in the town, the four would soon be executed at a public firing squad, the report added.
