A court in Meherpur, Bangladesh, sentenced to death Qader, Yasin and Hossain and awarded life imprisonment to Saiful after convicting them of murder. According to the prosecution, the convicts stabbed Mizanur Rahman Dulu to death following his refusal to give them money for holding a sports competition at Dighir Para village in Sadar on September 21, 1997.
