A grandson of former Indonesian President Suharto went on trial on charges of illegal firearms possession, facing the death sentence.
Ari Haryo Wibowo, popularly known as Ari Sigit, was detained after police said they found ammunition stashed in his Jakarta house in August during a search for his fugitive uncle, Hutomo "Tommy" Mandala Putra.
"In the defendant's house, police found 70 bullets... They were active and could be used," state prosecutor Surung Aritonang told the Central Jakarta District court.
"They were not mine," the heavily guarded Ari Sigit told reporters outside the court.
The once all-powerful Suharto family has been the focus of several graft probes since the former general stepped down amid social chaos in 1998.
