a man was sentenced to death by the High Court, in Taiwan, for killing three people in eight years. Chen Kun-ming, who was previously convicted of killing two elementary school sisters and a woman, was sentenced to death and deprived of his civil rights for life. The litigation can be appealed to the Supreme Court. “There was a devil asking me to kill people,” Chen claimed, trying to defend himself by pleading insanity. Both a district court and the High Court found Chen had no mental illness when he killed the woman and sentenced him to death.
