A twelve-year-old boy is risking the death penalty for the murder of a five-year-old girl. The Supreme Court will hear the charges brought against him since the Malaysian juvenile tribunals have no jurisdiction over crimes punishable by death, such as murder. No minor has ever been condemned to death in Malaysia yet.
