A Ugandan High Court sentenced three people to death for committing murder

A Ugandan High Court sentenced three people to death for committing murder.The three were identified as Moses Ojungu, 37, Simon Okia, 20, and Sam Ejoku, 18.
Ojungu was judged responsible for the death of Mary Engwau, wife of Justice Steven George Engwau. She was shot dead in her house in Soroti on April 28, 1997.
Okia and Ejoku of Katakwi, Morungatuny were accused of killing Michael Okwi on June 25, 1999.
The deceased's wife told the court that she saw Okia and Ejoku chop her husband to death using a spear and a panga.
