Abdul Motaleb was executed by hanging at midnight in Comilla Central Jail, Bangladesh
Abdul Motaleb was executed by hanging at midnight in Comilla Central Jail, Bangladesh. He had been convicted of raping and killing a seven year old girl, Nilufer, at Bagdi village in Narsingdi on August 5, 1995. She died from excessive bleeding at a hospital.
Motaleb was awarded capital punishment under the Women and Child Repression Prevention Act on April 28, 1997.
Motaleb's body was handed over to his family.
