AFGHANISTAN: MAN ACCUSED OF MURDERING WIFE SENTENCED TO DEATH IN BALKH

A court in Balkh has sentenced a man accused of murdering of his wife to death. 
According to head of primary court in Balkh Mohammad Sharif Fani, after reviewing documents and evidence, the court has sentenced the man to death.
The man accused of murdering his wife has rejected the court’s decision and asked for reviewing the decree.
Previously, two other men accused of murdering their wives in Balkh had been sentenced to 16 years imprisonment.
