Albert Bazeyan, leader of the opposition Anrapetutyun Party, said that the issue of the death penalty is not a problem that must be settled only by parliament. A nationwide referendum must be organized and the people themselves should decide this most important issue, he said.
"As for the terrorists of 27 October, they must unequivocally get the most severe punishment - the death penalty," Bazeyan said.
