the Criminal Court in Algiers issued the death sentence against a man bearing the initials K.J, nicknamed Abou Khitama. He was charged with the killing of hundreds of civilians and security agents, as well as raping several women since he joined terror fiefs in Ain Defla interior province, in 1994.
He was arrested in June, 13th, 2005, and subjected to cross examinations, in which he confessed to taking part in massive killings during the period extending from 1996 to 2005 in Khemis Meliana and Boumedfaa, both municipalities in Ain Defla.
He also admitted raping at least 6 married women before assassinating them.
