Ali Ibrahim was sentenced to death for running a lucrative drug trafficking business under Al-Qaeda.
The court found Ali Ibrahim, nicknamed among the drug dealers as "Osama bin Laden," guilty of trafficking and distributing hashish from the North Darfur region using camouflaged vehicles with government seals on them.
During one raid, police found over 89,000 pieces of hashish weighing 0.25 kg each and in another swoop the police found a cachet of five sacks of the same drug, quantities of ammunition and AK 47 assault rifles.
