Amroz, one of the key Bali bombing suspects, claimed that he was not afraid of a possible death sentence to be imposed upon him for his actions. "I am not afraid to be sentenced to death," he said while being escorted from his detention cell to an interrogation room at the Bali regional police headquarters. The three suspects' lawyer, Suyanto, however said that the three had never cared about the penalty. "Even if they are sentenced to death the family in principle will not object to it seeing it as a cost of a struggle," he said.
