An Additional Session court in Chashma handed out a death sentence to Kafait Ullah for several murders and possession of illegal weapons. In another case the District and Session Judge of the Mian Wali sentenced [a person identified only as] Wasim for the murder of a young boy, Haq Nawaz, a talented cricket player. Wasim shot dead Haq Nawaz in 1998 over some minor dispute in the playground.
