An armed group affiliated with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Battalions, Fatah Movement's military wing, liquidated two collaborators with the Zionist authorities. The two agents earlier fled their prison in Nablus after it was attacked by the Zionist warplanes.
Sources said that the two agents, Mundhir Al-Hafnawi, a resident of Nablus, and Husayn Abu-al-Aynayn, a resident of Tulkarm, were liquidated in Nablus by shooting, hanging, and stabbing. The two agents were then thrown in a garbage dump. They were later taken to a hospital in the city.
A death sentence was issued in 2001 against Al-Hafnawi against the backdrop of collaborating with the Zionist intelligence and participating in the assassination of martyr Mahmud al-Madani, a Hamas activist. Another death sentence was issued against Abu-al-Aynayn who was implicated in the assassination of Dr Thabit Thabit, a Fatah Movement leader in Tulkarm.
