An Ohio prisoner convicted of strangling his cellmate has been sentenced to execution. Timothy Hancock initially got a life sentence for the November 2000 slaying. But Warren County prosecutors appealed to demand stiffer punishment, and a new sentencing was ordered. The 33-year-old Hancock was convicted 2 years ago of killing 25-year-old cellmate Jason Wagner. They shared a cell at Warren Correctional Institution near Lebanon, about 25 miles north of Cincinnati. Hancock already was serving a life term for a 1990 murder.
