Ankara High Criminal Court No.6 sentenced 20 members of the Revolutionary Way organization to death. Chief Judge Mehmet Berber stated that the court delegation had decided to sentence 20 suspects to death on charges of "destroying the constitutional and fundamental orders of the state" in accordance with Article 146 of the Turkish Penal Code. Berber said that the death sentences were commuted to life imprisonment due to good behaviour of the suspects in accordance with Article 59/1 of the Turkish Penal Code.
