BAHRAIN: MAN LOSES A THIRD APPEAL

Bahrain's Cassation Court upheld the death penalty against Bangladeshi national Jassim Abdulmanan. Three Bangladeshis were sentenced by the High Criminal Court in January 2008 for luring Ridar Mian to a farm in Janusan in October 2005, strangling him and stealing BD400 and his mobile phone. This was Jassim’s third and final appeal.
