BANGLADESH: HUSBAND, SISTER-IN-LAW TO DIE FOR MURDER

a husband and sister-in-law were sentenced to death by a court in Rajshahi, Bangaldesh, for poisoning Shulekha Khatun from Chuniapara village under Durgapur upazila of the district on February 28, 2004. Judge of the Special Tribunal for Prevention of Women and Child Repression-2 Zaheedul Haque found Abdul Mannan and Selina Begum, also from Chuniapara village, guilty. Lutfor Rahman was acquitted.
