BANGLADESH. THREE BROTHERS SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDER

Abdul Awal, 40, Osman Gani, 35, and Abu Bakar, 32, all brother, were sentenced to death by a speedy trial tribunal in Barisal, Bangladesh, after being convicted of murder. According to the prosecution, the accused hacked Khaled Howlader to death on his way to Ballavpur from Digbijoy village on September 14, 1998. 
Earlier, two other accused persons were exempted from the case on order from the Home Ministry.
