carrying out an Aug. 31 jury's recommendation, Miami-Dade judge Leonard E. Glick sentenced Harrel Franklin Braddy to death. Braddy, is accused of leaving a 5-year-old girl to be eaten alive by alligators in the Everglades. Braddy, 58, black, attacked Quatisha Maycock and her mother Shandelle, both blacks, on Nov. 6, 1998. Quatisha was found floating in a canal near Alligator Alley with a fractured skull and one arm missing.
