Cedric Ransom, 29, was executed this evening for robbing and fatally shooting Herbert Primm, 47, on Dec. 7, 1991. He was pronounced dead at 6:21 p.m. Ransom becomes the 19th condemned inmate to be put to death this year in Texas, and the 47th in the USA.
