CHINA. GUANGDONG COURT SENTENCES TWO TO DEATH FOR TRAFFICKING
it was reported that recently, the Dongguan City Intermediate People's Court, China, sentenced to death Li Shaobo, a 26 year old Yunnan native;
it was reported that recently, the Dongguan City Intermediate People's Court, China, sentenced to death Li Shaobo, a 26 year old Yunnan native; and Yang Chaoqing, after convicting them of drug trafficking. It was alleged that on 7 September 2004, Li and Yu Feng hid 3.85 kg of heroin inside jade items and sent them via parcel post to Daojiao Town, Dongguan City. On 15 September 2004, Li, Yang and others were arrested in the post office when they tried to claim the parcel.
