DEATH BY STONING CASE GOES TO UAE SUPREME COURT

the UAE Federal Supreme Court is looking into the case of a Pakistani man, identified as A., in his fifties, who was found guilty of having illicit affairs with his four stepdaughters and sentenced to death by stoning. The appeal court upheld the sentence and the case has been transferred to the Federal Supreme Court. The four girls were sentenced to 80 lashes each for "allowing" their stepfather to sleep with them. The girls reportedly gave birth to more than 10 children by the man. One of them was eight months pregnant when they were arrested in 2005.
