Dozens of people moved to the command centre where Johnny Jooste was being held and called for his execution. Jooste, 35, was suspected of killing seven people in the Koue Bokkeveld in the Western Cape. Jooste had been on the run after his wife Elmine, his children Blake and Sanjay, his sisters-in-law Sophia Swarts, Janitta Jacobs and Cornelia Visagie, and Sophia's husband Barend were shot in the head.
