Elisha Otieno Odede and his wife, Elizabeth Akinyi, were sentenced to hang by a court in Homa Bay, Kenya, after being convicted of robbery with violence. The two were found guilty of violently robbing Millicent Anyango Omondi of cash and assorted goods valued at Sh 41,662 on the night of April 19, 2002.
