Gang members Armen Ter Sahakian and his cousin Alik Grigorian were sentenced to capital punishment with complete confiscation of property. The decision was made by Avan-Nor-Nork Community's first instance court of Yerevan. They were accused and found guilty of arranging the assassinations and killing Chairman of the district Executive Committee of Ashtarak Hovhanes Sukiassian, his driver Varuzhan Abrahamian, the head of the Armenian Railway Department Hambartzum Kandilian, his driver Hakob Unikian and Major-General Georgiy Isahakian as well a failed assassination attempt upon former Head of the investigation department of the General Prosecutor's Office. They were convicted together with 5 others who received sentences ranging from 4 to 11 years in prison.
